Funny enough we’ve had this post in draft for almost 3 years and it’s a shame we’ve not published it before. As all street arts, these are temporary “exhibitions”, so they might not exist anymore. That’s the sad beauty of street art – enjoy them while you can.
Lisbon is known for it’s urban street art which is spread around the city. Some more interesting than others ofcourse. Here is our miniture guide to the most famous and interesting works by portuguese and international street artists.
These ones are the work of Italian street artist Pixel Pancho in collaboration with Portuguese street artist Vhils. It is located at Avenida Infante dom henrique. It is quite a piece of art work, and worth checking out.
Lisbons tallest graffiti at 18 metres high or 7 floors. This is the work of Spanish artist, Aryz who for four days worked on top of a crane. He did not project the image to mark up the shapes, but did it by eye. This is a really cool piece of work. It’s recommended to go and see it live. It is located at Junction of Rua Rodrigues, side street of Avenida das Liberdade.
These are some of our favorites at the ûber cool LX Factory area.
In Bairro Alto we found these lovelies,
Such great artworks! I love Red Riding Hood with her rifle 🙂
I know, it is one of my favorites. But not sure who the artist is though:-/
