As a couple (Mikkel and Claudia) one of our common passions is traveling. This is our personal website where we log our experiences, If you find use in our experiences then great! We both have a busy work life in Norway, so long weekend trips are often the getaways we need to regenerate energy. This also explains why many of our trips are in Europe.

When out traveling, especially to new cities, we try to experience as much as possible in the short time we are there. We are not particular fans of very touristy areas and activities, although this is sometimes inevitable. But we really do make a good effort to mingle with locals and find non-touristy places. We think that the hidden gems are often best known by the locals. And of course you get the real feel of the cities culture and energy by being where the locals are.

Our other passion is food – Good restaurants are always a mission on our trips. The standard we normally look for varies from high profile Michelin restaurants to low profile places. Art is almost always on our agenda when traveling.

All the pictures are our own, except for the occassional images from Google when we haven’t been able to take satisfactory pictures. In which case these are referenced or linked to the source.
